Big Beautiful Bowl of Berries

I thought I would share with you how I do my berries. This is a great breakfast side dish that can be assembled easily. You can serve along with plain Greek yogurt, raw local honey, cinnamon, and if desired granola (homemade is yummy). Your guests can make their own yogurt bowls!
Adding the bowl of berries to a buffet style breakfast helps add color and diversity too. I usually serve them with my banana chocolate chip muffins and an overnight breakfast casserole. I usually make my overnight breakfast egg pie for an easy morning. As a hostess, you want to enjoy your guests and not spend it away from them cooking in the kitchen!
If you are interested in my overnight breakfast egg pie or my homemade granola let me know and I will include it in a future update.
Ingredients: Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, and Blueberries
Recipe Directions:

Start by washing your berries. I use a veggie/fruit spray sold in most grocery store produce sections.

I place the berries on paper towels to get rid of excess moisture. Look over your berries and throw away any bad ones. For the strawberries, I use a sharp paring knife to slice off the tops.

Take a large bowl and place your strawberries in first (it's okay if they are a little wet), then add the blackberries and raspberries.

You then place the blueberries on top. I think the red then blue layering of the fruit looks lovely. Put plastic wrap over the bowl (if not serving right away). This will keep in the refrigerator for several days.

The result is a Big Beautiful Bowl of Berries! Bon Appetit!
